Ravis is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing underprivileged children with access to quality education and essential learning resources. Our 10-year objective is to empower over 50,000 children from disadvantaged backgrounds through the transformative power of education. By equipping them with the knowledge, technological skills, and well-rounded personal development needed to thrive in the modern world, we strive to help them build brighter futures. Seeing these children rise and succeed is the true reward for our work.

Modern Devices in Classroom

Providing children from underserved communities with access to modern devices such as tablets and laptops opens up new opportunities for learning and discovery. It helps them develop essential digital skills, access a world of information, and become more confident in navigating an increasingly technology-driven world. Over time, this access to technology can broaden their educational and career opportunities, helping them build a brighter future for themselves and, ultimately, for their families.

Building Computer Lab in School

The schools we work with often lack the basic infrastructure needed to provide students with meaningful exposure to technology. We work with school management to create dedicated computer labs by transforming an available classroom with appropriate furniture, computers, a large digital screen for remote teaching, and acoustic enhancements. We invite corporates to partner with us through their CSR programs to help establish these labs. By providing students with access to modern technology, digital learning, and contemporary curriculum, we hope to equip them with skills and exposure that can broaden their future educational and employment opportunities.

Our foundation is dedicated to transforming underprivileged schools by delivering critical infrastructure upgrades that directly improve the daily learning experience and safety of every student. We actively focus on procuring essential classroom furniture like sturdy desks and chairs to replace broken or missing equipment, ensuring children can study in comfort and with proper support. Additionally, we prioritize vital structural security measures, such as installing robust window safety grills and repairing worn facilities, to create a secure, protective environment so that students can focus entirely on their education.

Our mission's objective in the next 5 years is to help 50 schools conquer the digital divide. In the next 5 years, we would like to provide classrooms with a teacher computer along with a projector. These schools till today rely on traditonal chalk and board style of teaching. Our first motive is to equip those classrooms to allow the teacher to bring in modern education to the under privileged. Once we accomplish this, our next goal will be to equip labs comprising of computers for students to get hands on experience.

If this seems like a noble enough cause, please support us. By helping us get computers and projectors, we can reduce the digital divide which is massive.

Meaningful change begins with empowering educators at the heart of underserved communities. Volunteers play a vital role by sharing their knowledge, skills, and teaching strategies directly with teachers in under-resourced schools. By mentoring, co-teaching, and offering hands-on training, volunteers can help educators strengthen their confidence, expand their instructional methods, and better support their students’ learning needs. This collaborative approach ensures that the impact extends far beyond a single classroom, creating a sustainable cycle of growth where teachers continue to inspire and uplift generations of learners.

If you or anyone you know would be willing to spend a few hours of your time at a school to help teach the teachers, we can facilitate and arrange foir this to happen. Computers, English, and Art/Craft are the areas we can facilitate with schools.
