How can you help?

Join us in our quest to support underprivileged children gain quality education. There are three areas you can help Ravis Foundation in its mission to support the educational needs of the underprivileged children:

The schools we partner with face significant infrastructure challenges, including inadequate lighting, insufficient and inflexible furniture for collaborative learning, poor-quality writing boards, unclean floors, leaking walls, lack of fans, inadequate sanitation facilities, and limited space for students to sit and eat their meals comfortably. These conditions create an environment that is not conducive to effective teaching or active student engagement. Teachers often struggle to implement interactive or group-based learning due to rigid classroom setups and lack of basic resources. Students, in turn, may experience discomfort, reduced concentration, and lower motivation to attend school regularly. Addressing these gaps is essential to creating safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning spaces that support both academic achievement and overall well-being. You can donate to help Ravis improve the school facilitiy - your donation is tax deductible under section 80G.

External lessons for these children are always a boon. Whether you are in school and want to complete an internship or you are part of a corporate team and would like to come in as a group and teach students in areas of Technology, Artwork or English, you are most welcome and we can facilitate these sessions which always goa long way in helping them. If you are a student ad would like to complete your summer internship teaching at one of the schools we are affiliated with, this is a wonderful opportunity. Ravis will hand over a certificate and letter of recommendation post the teaching assignments. Are you ready to be a teacher for a day?

Volunteering Opportunity

The schools we work with, do not have the means and funds to procure computer hardware or software. Children from these schools have low exposure to technology and this results them being at a disadvantage. If you or your firm can donate laptops, 24 inch monitors, 55 inch TV screens, we could look at repurposing them for classrooms. you can also donate funds to Ravis so that we can procure new hardware and software and deploy to the schools to facilitate lab sessions as well as remote learning.
